Good News, friends in Lubbock.

Every Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 PM Tom and Sherry Green

(and sometimes friends) will be singing their best of 300+ songs at:

ROOFTOP CAFE.. 3300 82nd St. (Lubbock)

Not only is this a good opportunity to hang out and have a great evening but also this is an

ideal spot to bring your friends and neighbors who aren't quite ready to be dragged to church....

Dinner.. Desert.. or just coffee.. and time to listen, think and enjoy the Lord and his people..

We will from time to time be having guest musicians and singers join us..

We look to have a real good time every Tuesday.

Actually Sherry and I have written over 300 songs in our 35 years of ministry together,

but we only are able to perform 15 - 20 at any given time. Sooo.. this time at Rooftop

will serve to help us re-enter all of our music back into the ministry..

We are excited at this opportunity. In fact you just might come every

Tuesday for 20 weeks in a row and never hear the same song twice.

(except of course for requests)

This is a new concept for Lubbock (we kind of borrowed it from the Austin scene)

so lets see if we can all get behind this and make it a happening.

Plan to come out.. and try to drag some friends along..

Don't sit around the house and fall asleep in the recliner...

Tom and Sherry Green

Tom and Sherry... met and married 1972... been ministering together every since. Song writers, singers, preachers, teachers, followers of Jesus. Cross country drivers, equipment haulers, sound technicians, musicians, followers of Jesus. One in labor, One in ministry, One in the Lord. By God's Great Grace we are one.

For over 30 years we have twanged on guitars and plunked on banjos, singing songs about Jesus, and I reckon we'll just keep on do'in it till the Lord comes back. Can't think of anything else we'd rather do.

The anointing of ministry is for sure the greatest pleasure a man or woman can experience, and I think we must be addicted. God is good . He gets us down the road and back, in and out of countless restaurants and motels, fills our life with friends and fellowship and quickens our mortal bodies to sing and preach week after month after year.
